It is the thought that counts when you get someone something, always remember that in the future. If I were in your situtaion I would have bought something thoughtful with the little money you had. you can buy lots of things that mean a lot with a little amount of money. You should never sacrafice what you love for who you love. Another theme is money cant buy you happiness. If you have more moeny, and you buy a more exspensive present, it wont be better than a gift that has more thought.
